Singhs Camp International (BC) is taking place this week, Monday to Friday.

There will be a Rainsabaee Keertan on Thursday from 8pm to 4am followed by Nitnem — all Singhs are humbly requested to drop by and attend.

Toronto Singhs Camp will take place 5pm, Thursday, July 14th to 5pm Sunday, July 17th, 2011, at Mansfield Outdoor Centre in Mansfield, Ontario

Guru Granth Sahib Ji Seva

Singhs Camp Society hosted a special class for Sikh youth on September 19 on the topic of “Seva for Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.” This class included instruction and discussion on how to do prakash seva, hukamnama seva, and sukh asin seva of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, as well as related topics, including questions from the sangat.

The class was taught by renowned student of Gurbani & Gurbani Santhiya instructor Giani Manjit Singh Ji (Samastpur). The class was hosted by Guru Nanak Academy, Surrey, BC.

Welcome to Singhs Camp!

Singhs International Camp 2010 is currently in progress. You are welcome to attend for a full day or as long as you like. Suggested donation is $30/day to cover costs of food, lodging and recreation.

Here are the directions:

* DO NOT TAKE EXIT 185 or 183 or 173, YOUR GPS IS WRONG.
THIS WILL WASTE A LOT OF YOUR TIME. *

Simple Directions
Take Hwy 1 East past Chilliwack
Take Exit 135 “Harrison Agassiz”
Stay on Hwy 7 for over 25 min
Take Left at “Camp Hope” sign before large turnpike.
Take first right after gate, follow road to a 3-way stop, turn right.
First large building is Darbar Sahib. Up and to the left is Langar Hall.

Details
Follow Highway 1 East towards Abbotsford
Pass Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Immediately after Chilliwack take Exit 135 to “Harrison / Agassiz.”
The exit will take you towards the right, loop over a bridge and go onto Highway 9. You will see a gas station on the left.
Continue onto Highway 7. Do not take the exit/left turn to Harisson.
Drive on Highway 7 for 25 minutes.
You will go over a bridge, pass two gas stations and two conference centers.
Before the large red turnpike, you will see the Camp Hope sign on the left, take a left there.
Follow the road to the gate. If the gate is closed, call Sukhjeet Singh (604-790-4705) or Sukhpreet Singh (604-725-2045).
Take the first right after the gate, and follow the road to a 3-way stop, and turn right.
First large building is Darbar Sahib. Up and to the left is Langar Hall.
